The period of challenges continues and we must keep working hard and rise above them. When all of us together make progress in our respective areas, it will have an impact on the entire organization.
The objective of Project Jagriti was to bring transformation in the field of flexible packaging, and we have been working in this direction over the past years. The purpose of this packaging is to keep whatever material is inside clean for a long period of time, and to achieve this, air and water leakage must be completely prevented. Materials made from plastic have proven capable of this task, and because of this, life has transformed for human society. Earlier we all used to buy food items fresh, and now we can easily bring home many pre-weighed packaged goods. However, this process has caused tremendous harm to nature because such packaging does not decompose for millions of years and recycling it is also impossible.
For the customer, it is essential that both price and performance are better, and so far we have not been able to deliver on this. We must continue working in this direction and provide the world with products that can truly solve this problem.
It is also necessary that whatever we produce on PM4 sells at a reasonable price and provides us the right returns so that we can move towards our goals. For this purpose, Ashok Mishra ji and I met numerous customers over the past two months and gathered insights. With this understanding, the products we will now attempt to create will be used in areas where we can provide the highest level of service to our customers. We met several customers and also found mentors who can help us build the right products.
The finance team, through considerable effort, got funds sanctioned from banks for the project, which will accelerate the project’s momentum. We will need to pay greater attention to our expenses and increase profitability so that we are able to complete the project on time. We are working on raising additional funds, but for any organization, net profit is the greatest source of strength.
Dr. Yogesh Sonawane has joined us to lead the Innovation team and we welcome him warmly. In the times ahead, we hope that through innovation we will be able to bring tremendous change in the world and contribute to the cleanliness of our planet.
Sharma Fabricators is one of the world’s top project companies and they have taken charge of PM4. We are confident that progress will be visible in the coming time and we will be able to complete our work on schedule.
We live in a country where corruption is widespread, but for us, having complete trust and faith in every team member is one of our core values. When bribery takes place in any organization, it hollows it out from within. It is essential for us that whenever such instances come before us, we expose them and uproot them completely. We must operate with the understanding that whoever is involved in such activities is stealing from all of us. Our company believes in open dialogue and we must immediately share such information with others so that the problem does not escalate further. The actions of Subodh caused immense pain and hurt. We must continue to bring such acts to light.
This month you have given a boost to production. This momentum must continue.
