Dear Team,
Gautam ji made an important statement this Independence Day. He reminded us that we are not merely running an organisation; we are on a path of revolution, and giving the organisation the right form and direction is an integral part of that journey.
For any meaningful change, it is essential to understand the seriousness of the situation at a deeper level. Through the efforts of Shrestha and Tanuja, all Pakka members will now visit waste sites to understand the reality of waste and the damage it causes. This exercise is essential for every colleague and must be completed over the next four months. After these four months, completing this exercise will become a prerequisite for the monthly incentive. By the end of 2026, we must all work further on developing our sensitivity towards these issues so that we can truly become agents of change.
I also had the opportunity to visit a waste site during the first exercise, and it gave me a glimpse of how we are harming lives around us. We saw animals feeding on plastic from waste heaps, mistaking it for food. We saw how drainage systems are getting blocked, leading to the spread of diseases. We also saw people working towards recycling and realised how complex and challenging the process can be.

We have to become bigger than ourselves. We need to discover new materials, expand production and successfully create a wider presence in the market.
For this reason, we will continue to make changes to our organisational structure.
The Innovation Team will be based in Ayodhya to enable better collaboration and coordination. We will build a strong team capable of attracting talent from across the world and working on applications at a larger scale. We will also build alliances with scientists across the globe. Innovation will be run as a profit centre rather than a cost centre, enabling us to create value not only for ourselves but for others as well. The plan for our Material Science Centre will be ready next month.
Project Jagriti is now on the verge of entering production. This month, we will begin the Recovery and PP3 operations, and the team is working towards producing the first paper reel by the end of next month. Our endeavour is to develop the highest-quality flexible base on PM4, which can transform packaging through barrier coating. Several efforts are underway towards this goal. Pilot trials will be conducted in Europe this month, helping us determine what our final product should look like. Our aim is to create something that can bring meaningful change to the packaging industry.
The Food Service Division is also moving forward on its growth journey. We aim to provide complete solutions to our customers, and several changes are being made to enable this. Our product range will be expanded, and through strategic alliances, we will work with materials beyond bagasse. We will also work towards becoming more independent in our operations and accelerating the pace of our expansion.
Through the Pakka Foundation, we are laying the foundation to empower the next generation and create a pool of capable people who can take Pakka forward in the years to come. In this direction, the team organised a large-scale admission mela, attracting many young people and creating new opportunities for them.
As business in India stabilises, we are once again turning our attention towards global expansion. Several opportunities are emerging before us, and we will continue to give them direction and turn them into meaningful possibilities.
Last quarter, we achieved a new revenue record, and I congratulate each one of you for this achievement. Going forward, our focus will be even stronger on profitability. We are building systems that will give you a clearer understanding of our performance on a daily basis and empower you to bring about meaningful changes. Together, we can continue to reach new heights and create something truly better.
With best wishes,
Yours,
Ved
