Innovating tomorrow

May 2026 has been a month of significant milestones for the innovations team, marked by global representation, national recognition, a new addition to the team, and steady progress on our product development fronts.

  1. We recently had the privilege of attending interpack 2026, one of the world’s most prestigious exhibitions for the packaging industry, held in düsseldorf, germany from 7th to 13th may. The conference provided an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the latest developments, emerging trends, and the future direction of the global packaging sector. Throughout the event, we actively engaged in networking with industry experts, technology providers, and potential collaborators, and also coordinated with several of our international consultants to explore future opportunities and avenues for technical collaboration.

  2. Adding to this, we are proud to share that pakka innovations has been selected as the winner of the FIPSA-2026 trophy at the 3rd edition of the FIPSA-2026 award contest, organised by FIPS in association with the national institute of design, madhya pradesh, under the ministry of commerce and industry, government of india. Our winning entry, FLEXC M3: sustainable technology abstract, was evaluated in the commercial sustainability category by an eminent jury on 9th may 2026. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team. The award ceremony will be held at majestic hall, hotel the lalit, mumbai, on 1st june 2026 from 7:00 PM onwards, coinciding with the 5th edition of the international conference on responsible packaging.

  3. On the people’s front, we are pleased to welcome ms. Divyashree as a new intern in the innovations team. She will be contributing to AI and machine learning-related developments for the CHUK product line, an initiative that represents an important step towards future-ready product development and is expected to meaningfully support design optimisation, process improvement, and cost efficiency.

  4. Finally, development activities for both the flexc and rigid product lines continue to progress in line with the planned timeline, with a sustained focus on innovation, sustainability, and commercial scalability.

It has been a strong month, and we move forward with momentum and a shared commitment to building products that make a real difference.
