Every day, people across Pakka live these values in their own way. This year, we shine a light on five teammates whose stories remind us what’s possible when we embody courage, trust, care for our planet, respect for diversity, and the pursuit of excellence.
These aren’t just their stories. They’re an invitation to all of us to bring our values to life.
COURAGE | Heena | Web Development Head
Heena joined IT with a limited skill set but an unlimited willingness to learn. She quickly took ownership of major web application development projects. When asked to work in an unfamiliar SAP environment, she didn’t hesitate — she dove in and successfully delivered the PM1 machine production automation.
TRUST | Satyendra Sharma | Pulp Mill Fitting Head
When the new 26″ continuous digester faced a critical bagasse blockage, Satyendra calmly suggested increasing steam pressure. It worked. When the motor of tube no. 1 unexpectedly broke, he quickly identified that the tube direction was reversed and guided the team to correct it, bringing the plant back to stable operation.
EARTH LOVE | Chandrashekhar Maurya | Water Conservation Head
Chandrashekhar introduced water-saving practices in paper manufacturing and monitors consumption across all sections. He suggests improvements in morning meetings, conducts regular audits, and continuously explores new ways to reduce our environmental footprint through the ETP plant and beyond.
DIVERSITY | Trisha Tanisha | Team Comms Head
Trisha ensures our communications reflect every voice — creating Spanish messaging for Guatemala, bilingual content for India, and tailored communications for the USA. She actively involves teams in shaping their spaces, like taking inputs for Noida’s new office décor that led to adding plants for a welcoming atmosphere.
EXCELLENCE | Pankaj Khairkar | Product Engineering Head
When the food services delivery container program faced repeated setbacks and the team was close to giving up, Pankaj mobilized resources, tackled problems one by one, and kept the team focused on solutions. Today, the program is thriving and on track for a year-end launch.
