Checking machine chest consistency at PM2 has become easier through a Kaizen initiative by Kajal Kumari from ISS Sangh.
Earlier, the stock area had no display showing machine chest consistency, so operators had to visit the machine area to check the reading. By adding logic and a DACA block in the operating system, the consistency value is now visible on the stock area’s DCS screen.
This improvement helps operators monitor consistency more conveniently and respond to variations promptly, supporting better pulp quality.
