On the occasion of World Water Day, we took a moment to recognize and appreciate the thoughtful and innovative ideas shared by our team members towards water conservation and resource optimization. These ideas reflect a strong sense of ownership and a collective commitment to building more efficient and sustainable processes.
- The Pulp Mill team proposed an optimization in the bleach transfer MC pump delivery line by reducing bends and increasing the line size. This improvement is expected to enhance pulp consistency from 8 percent to 10 percent, while also contributing to better process efficiency and reduced resource loss.
2. Jagrati Bohara from PRVS2 suggested the installation of a tank along with the diversion of MPS drain to the Decker. This initiative aims to prevent the continuous loss of water and pulp, enabling recovery and more efficient utilization of resources.
3. Anil Kumar from PVS recommended the utilization of AC outlet water in the hypo washer repulper. This simple yet effective idea focuses on optimizing water usage by reusing available resources within the process.
These initiatives highlight how small, practical ideas can lead to meaningful impact. Together, they reinforce our shared vision of responsible resource management and continuous improvement across the organization.
