Dear Team,
Ashish’s death is a heartbreaking tragedy. We must reflect on what happened and work to ensure that no colleague faces such a crisis in the future.
- We need to build an organisation where everyone feels able to speak openly and bring forward the challenges they are facing.
- We must continue to support one another and recognise signs of distress well before they reach a crisis point.
- We must make our premises as safe as possible, so that no one can harm themselves or others.
This is a time for reflection. We must work together to bring about change and commit ourselves to preventing such a tragedy from happening again.
As in every month, we continue to make progress.
Project Jagriti is nearing completion. The project team is working with dedication so that we can start up PM4 soon and bring new products to the market. Recovery and PP3 are expected to begin this month, and we will do our best to produce paper reels on the new machine before Diwali. In Europe, Sudhir ji is conducting trials on a pilot machine. This will help us provide the new product to our vendors before the machine starts up, while establishing the right formulation and chemistry.
We must continue working towards flexible packaging and refining the coating formulation so that we can bring meaningful change to the packaging sector. The team is making steady efforts in this direction.
Food Services continues to expand its operations, with outsourcing helping to increase production. Machines are being ordered to support the expansion of delivery products.
I am spending time strengthening the team, and I hope many of you will take on additional responsibilities. We are also continuing to look outside the organisation to fill gaps wherever they exist.
We must keep working together to build a stronger organisation—one where everyone feels safe and where we can achieve even more than we thought possible.
